are delaying awarding payback, this missed MyVIP will not affect your payback. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience that this delay is causing. We can confirm that your two movie purchases made on April 30th have been tracked, but not yet processed for
MyVIP. Once this issue is resolved, you should see the correct progress as well as payback.

For it to go up you would need to spend $300 to go up a rank and the end of December also I read

so the way it reads the only games at the Xbox store or on demand games count towards VIP rank and movies and other stuff don't count towards V.I.P rewards unless they changed it and haven't updated the FAQ

The only things that do not qualify for MyVip is pre-orders, in-game consumables, subscription purchases, and content that qualifies for another offer. TV shows/Movies do qualify as long as they are purchased digitally through xbox.com or the xbox one console.

OP keep in mind it takes 96 hours for purchases to reflect and that until you reach MyVip star 1 you will not receive rebates.
