VIP level has not changed.

Hello,

I have been at VIP level 4 for a long time. I am trying to see why my level is not increasing when I purchase a lot of Digital content each month. I should be at VIP level 5 by now for sure.

Xbox One achievement problems prevent games from being completed

@Randver and MyKill - There Rewards program does not award credits for achievements. Prior to September 2014, your VIP status was based off gamerscore and VIP rebates were listed as "MyAchievement" rebates. As of September, the VIP program changed to Star
levels which is based on how much you spend in the marketplace. So currently you don't earn anything for achievements or gamerscore.

Vip Stufe reduced fro 4 to 3

It took a Long time but i reached VIP Level 4 and was not far from VIP Level 5 now after purchasing a few other products my VIP Level has been reduced to 3 again and once again i'm at 85% to Level 4. On top of that my rewards account is not being updated
anymore the last Change was on the 10 of October. Why is my Rewards account being reduced when i purchase products instead of gettin better? I find this completely unfair!

What content can I earn a % back on purchases for?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify towards your MyVIP Star Rank and % back on purchases, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes,
movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, subscriptions like EA Access and Xbox Game Pass, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points
or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Additionally, MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in
September 2015 and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017).

Prior to September 2014, VIP rebates were based on gamerscore. That would have been a rebate for purchases you made back then. In September 2014, the VIP program was changed to what is now the star levels. There are no credits given for reaching new achievement
tiers.

As of September 2014, VIP status is no longer based on gamerscore (btw, legend status only have 3% back). VIP status is now based on star levels. You need at least 1 star level in order to receive a VIP rebate.
