Viki, Inc. app

For the last three days, I have tried to use my Viki Global TV app on my Xbox 360. I have received the same message "Sorry, the Viki server isn’t available right now. Please select the retry button below or try again later. For more information, go to
www.xbox.com/status." When I went to xbox.com for more information, it said that Viki was up and running. I tried the troubleshooting procedures listed (deleting and then reinstalling the app). I still however, receive the same message. I would appreciate
it if someone were able to look into this matter for me. Thank you for your time.

i have a problem with viki app, when i strat up the app a error message apear that says that the viki service is not available, i delete and reinstall the app but still no working

Viki's customer service/tech support is a joke too when you try emailing them. The last couple times I used the app I'd go to watch an episode, the ad would load flawlessly, but the episode itself would buffer for about 5 seconds than never load anything.
I emailed Viki's support about my issue and about how disastisied I was with their app.

I'm not kidding when I say this, it took TWO months later for them to reply to my complaint.

They're a joke I tell you!

Been 3 days and not fixed. Not that I'm surprises at all though.

 

It's been 2 weeks! This is kind of ridiculous! Any idea when this will be fixed?

 

I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, Viki doesn't care about their service. Like I said in a previous post, it took them TWO Months to respond to a complaint I made about it in the past.

Also I've noticed since the apps are no longer tethered to payed Xbox Live accounts, the quality of services has seemed to decline with seeing the apps not working right more often and taking their time with fixing them. Theres no longer an incentive to
fix them in a timely manner because we're not paying money to use them anymore.

Sorry to hear that! Here are some troubleshooting steps.

1. Clear your Cache 3 times (Settings>System>Storage>Press Y on your main storage device).

2. Go to Storage>Storage Device>Profiles>Select your profile and <b>Delete the Profile Only</b>.

3. Restart the console.

4. Re-download your profile (Xbox Guide>Download Profile <b>when not signed in to a profile</b>).

5. Retry the Viki Inc. app.

Uhm, it has NOTHING to do with our consoles or the app being installed incorrectly or anything. I find it even more comical you posted that when YOU were the one that made a post days before linking the service status page that had you clicked it and looked
you would see that it said the app is experiencing "issues". The issue in question is that we can't connect to the server, this is an issue on VIKI'S end that they need to fix on THEIR end. Restarting our consoles, deleting things, standing on our head, etc.
Is not going to fix it.
