Vietnam and Multiplayer Update #3 dont show up!

Hi,

My name is Diego, i recently bought Bad Company 2 and i am having a little problem.

I have the Vietnam DLC, but it dont shows up in the main menu. I also cant download the Multiplayer Update #3 because it dont appear on the store tab.

Can someone help?

I been searching on Google and it seems that i need the "Bad Company 2 Update #3" or "Bad Company 2 Vietnam Multiplayer Update" but none of those appear to me in the game or in the store.

Bf:BC 2 Vietnam DLC Problem

There's 2 parts to the Vietnam DLC, you need to download the Vietnam Multiplayer update (which is 1.6GB) - this contains the latest multiplayer update files - this is FREE

You then need to purchase the Vietnam DLC (marketplace.xbox.com/.../f639e5f1-9d3d-4534-9cb0-c6809c46f941) to unlock the DLC (only about
a megabyte)

You need to have both to play the Vietnam DLC. the game should prompt you to download the Vietnam Multiplayer update when you load the game up

Personally though I'm not sure that Vietnam is worth buying these days, it's an excellent bit of DLC but the online community is pretty much dead

 

There are no servers to play on anymore?

Is it the BFBC2 Vietnam Multiplayer Update? That thing is 1.64 GB

 

Hey there DiegoL92,

Are you playing on Xbox One through Backward Compatibility or Xbox 360? You'd only need an update pack if you were playing on Xbox 360, otherwise it's already bundled with the game. Can you share a picture of what you're seeing on the console?

The game is like basic Bad Company 2.

In multiplayer i only have 4 maps, but i have the free VIP dlc.

If i clear my HDD and boot the game it ask to download a update but is only 14mb. And the Vietnam DLC is around 2mb. It seems that the game is not pushing the update to me, that seems to have 1.64gb.

BTW i think i not alone on this. I can play with other random people online (ALL from the same region of me: Brazil). But NOT WITH people playing on the Xbox One.

I only found this out because i saw a video of someone playing on maps that dont appear to me.

I'm having the same problem and it's driving me crazy. I used to have all the VIP maps, but something seems to have gone wrong and now no matter what I do I cannot get the additional maps downloaded.
