    Videos streaming apps no longer working right on XBOX One S


    I have a One S that Netflix and Disney + have functioned on perfectly for two years. Now when I connect to those apps my screen flickers between black and static and once in a while I can hear a bit of audio. I know it's not any of my other equipment or subscription because everything works fine if I hook a laptop or other device up to the equipment.

    Online games work fine.

    I have tried complete reset and reinstall, same results.

    Thoughts on what I might be dealing with? Bad video board? Drivers?

    F1TV not playing live video

    I have the exact same issue on my Xbox Series S, when using the Edge Browser I am unable to watch the live broadcasting. I can however watch the previously streamed videos on the App.

    Only the live video is not able to start it keeps loading.

    Xbox is up-to-date and the app is updated.

    F1 is not the problem as it work anywhere else except on the the Xbox Series S

    I wouldn't expect anything just yet 4K is still in a state of flux.

    Due to tech/legal reasons a huge spanner was thrown in the works (HEVC became toxic for streaming), many are still waiting for the dust to settle.

    The Xbox One S can handle 4K video, it's just many are biding their time and do not want to pay the various groups behind HEVC their outrageous licensing fees (every time a video is streamed using HEVC!)

    Replacement video tech is in the works, the Xbox One S should have no issues handling it but it's a matter of time.

    After doing some research I found this thread on the official AT&T site: https://forums.att.com/t5/U-verse-TV-Apps/U-verse-app-on-Xbox-One/td-p/5066091

    On or after May 30, 2017, the Uverse.com site may be retired and no longer available for video streaming. Additionally, on or after May 30, 2017, the U-verse app may be unavailable on the XBox One and Windows mobile operating systems as well. Customers
    will still be able to stream via the U-verse mobile app on all other supported platforms. More information will be available at Uverse.com.
    While this is bad news, I hope this help explain why the app is no longer working.

    Sorry, I'm not streaming from a PC. I am streaming using the Twitch app on an Xbox One which used to have the ability to include party chat in streams. I need to figure a way to reactivate this as the previously posted solutions no longer seem to work.
