Videos do not play whatsoever

So I went to watch YouTube one day on my relatively new Xbox one when I realized only audio was playing, and the video had stuck at one little area. So I tried again everyday to see if It was fixed. No luck. Now, today I went onto Hulu and surprisingly,
the same odd error occurred and only audio played and the video repeated two or three frames over and over again. I need help as I watch 24/7, especially on my xbox

Cannot play any videos that were bought on or before 10/7/2009 on my PC. Why?

So there is no recourse whatsoever? I have to buy the same videos over again? That doesn't seem right.

 

Downloaded videos will not play in My-Videos

I checked the forums and didn't see an answer to this issue. Here is what is going on.

I have about 5 movies on My Videos which I purchased and downloaded. When I go to play them and click on play, they seem as if they are going to play (the loading symbol is spinning) and then the screen just turns white and nothing happen. If I press a
button on the remote/controller it shows the movie menu (play, pause, stop, cc, etc) but alas, no movie.

I tried the following things to resolve it:

1. Refreshing the movie list

2. Deleting the movies and re-downloading them.

3. Deleting the My Video App

4. Trying to stream the movies instead of downloading

5. Refreshing some more.

I have a 250 GB hard drive with plenty of space left (at least 100+ GB). The issue didn't start until after the points went away and purchases were made with dollars instead. I'm not sure that is related but it just seems coincidental.

Hello

Have you tried
powercycling your console ? This usually fixes video stuttering.

Another thing you could do is uninstall and reinstall the app again
