    So the problem is that my display for my xbox is not working but the sound i is and im using an easycap it works through hdmi but i dont like using it as i dont have build in speakers on my monitor and i dont have any hdmi in ports.

    Video Problem !!!!

    You can't adjust the brightness in game. You have to do it through your TV

    Just go to the game otpions and adjust the brightness and yes this is always was an issue. Just adjust the brightness. voila

    Never mind, the problem was that for some reason my programs to display the video input from the easycap where darkned out so you cant see anything

    okay, try doing a hard reset on your console by holding the power button until it turns off then unplug from the outlet for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug it back in and power back on and see if the problem is fixed.

    Hi IceMake, go into your settings and make sure your the right resolution setting. I would put it on 1080p and also make sure the setting on your tv are set to 1080p are on the same settings as well.

    do you have another hdmi cable? Try switching to another hdmi cable and see if that resolves the problem. You could have a faulty hdmi cable.
