Discus and support Video plays green , audio okay in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi, my Xbox oneX won't play either captured video, or video from the internet such as twitch.     Video plays green , audio okay


    Hi, my Xbox oneX won't play either captured video, or video from the internet such as twitch. The audio is fine but the video is just a green screen.

    Tried going through the settings and make along off 4k and HDR etc but it hasn't made any difference.

    Any one fixed this issue?

    New Preview Program Update

    I just wanted to report that when I try to view upload videos from friends on the community page the audio plays but no video--just solid green.

    Hi MrStedanko,

    Sorry to hear about this, a power cycle/hard reset may solve this issue. Please use the following steps to power cycle your console:

    - Press and hold the consoles power button for 10 seconds. (Or until the device powers off).

    - Leave the console for a few minutes.

    - Power the console back on and play an affected video source.

    Xbox static boot up screen and green with streaming Videos.

    You know the little short video that plays on an xbox one x before the xbox green screen logo? Thats when its static/snowy. Then it shows the normal xbox logo. When trying to use any video streaming app is when all i see is green screen with audio.

    I tried what you suggested, it went to 680x680 like you said but it only dispayed the static/snowy screen in lower quality and still experienced the green screen with audio only on netflix and hulu.
