    Video player on Youtube is flickering


    I have discovered a bug in the xbox version of microsoft edge that only affects Youtube. When i'm watching a video on Youtube, the video player is doing this weird behavior that is causing the video to buffer briefly as if the video's resolution was reduced to a lower resolution, so I changed the video's resolution to 240p and the video player started to flicker 4 times in a row and continues to occur even if the video is paused. So I set the resolution on the video to 1440p or 4k and it does the same flickering behavior much more frequently when i'm watching the video at 1440p or 4K. This bug never happened on older versions of the Xbox version of Microsoft Edge prior to September 2022 when this issue was introduced in a new update to Microsoft Edge on Xbox in September. At one point in November, this glitch got so bad that it caused the video player to say "An error occurred, Please try again later", though this no longer occurs since the December 2022 Update which fixed another bug that caused the video player to stop working correctly.

    May I know what steps have you already tried so far? Did you already perform a factory reset on your console? There's an option to keep your games and apps.     Thanks for trying, Trenton. If you've tried all of those steps including factory reset, then most likely it's a bug or system issue. You may consider reporting it via Report a problem app.
