Video player closing down Microsoft edge

I don’t know if anyone is having this issue or not but as for me Microsoft edge video player is forceclosing anysite I try to watch videos from. If will play for many 10 minutes if I’m lucky but when it’s said and done the player ultimately freezes everything.
I’ve tried a complete shut down of the system “ unplugged everything” let it sit for a few minutes while chatting with Microsoft support. Still didn’t the problem. And from what I’ve seen while searching for some answers this issue I’m having has happened
last year and I’m guessing it went unresolved so the next question Ian what are they going to do about it? It’s really aggravating when you constantly have to refresh a webpage to watch a 30 minute show

Latest Xbox update causes black dashboard...

yes mostly get it after closing down edge also have to use guide button to make black screen to also sometimes does after closing game down but only last a few seconds

this is getting ridiculous, how many times do we have to report something that’s messing up before anyone gets off there rearends to fix the issue at hand. Im getting really aggravated due to Microsoft edge keeps shutting down and
force closing this is complete and utter BS. This needs to be fixed or I’m just going to swap to ps4 or something with a better internet search app

Man, I guess the Microsoft Edge don't support all the video players or the all video formats, sometimes I have these problems too. Maybe the problem is the website, or, like I said, the Edge.

Is Microsoft Edge having trouble with loading the page or loading the videos within the page?

Is it only this website or is it also others?

Are there other tabs that could possibly be closed?
