    Video issues


    This started happening not long after I moved my xbox. Now, when I do anything on my xbox, the video acts like static on an old TV. It flashes several times and then locks up. The only thing I can do at this point is power it down. If I do turn it
    back on, it still has the same issue. Please help!

    Try some other games and see if it happens. If it does maybe your console is the problem. If no problems with other games I would return the games and get new ones. Would be strange to have gotten two new defective games but it could happen.

    I tried it on our other tv and it happens there too, and now I'm getting white lines flashing across the login screen and home menu.

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for your post, have you attempted to change the HDMI cable used to with the Xbox? Also try switching the port the HDMI cable is plugged into on the Monitor/ TV. If the issue persists check out the following article:

    Troubleshooting a blank TV screen while your Xbox One is on.

    Thank you for your timely response. I switched out the HDMI cable and its working much better so far. Thanks again and have a great day!

    i agree with sM4llziE: just unplug your wires ( power and A/V), then wait 30min. to an hour then plug it back in, if it still consist, consult MICROSOFT

    Is your Xbox in a compact space, it may have overheated.

    Turn the console off for about 30 minutes, unplug all the wires and leave it in an open space, then power it back on to see if the console responds.
