Video in the Windows 10 Xbox app are not working

Hello,

I have used this app many times in the past and enjoyed watching the videos from the activity feed and my previous clips on my own game dvr. However, now when i click on the videos they do not play. They simply freeze in the beginning and or load for an
infinite amount of time. I have no idea how to fix this issue, I like to download clips from my dvr to my computer and now i cannot because the videos in the dvr never play. I have the app on my phone (iphone) and can watch the clips there so I do not know
what the issue is on my pc.

No sound recorded in XBOX GAME DVR videos in Windows 10

I have 2 XBOX ONEs and neither of them are recording audio with Game DVR in Windows 10 when streaming via XBOX App.

They both have the NXOE update. Video records just fine.I recorded a number of videos from Xbox App a month ago with audio but now it's not working.

PC - Alienware Aurora R4. OS Windows 10.

Might start with normal video for 5seconds then it turns green with audio still working, and then English subtitles starting

Uninstalled app and reinstalled app shutdown Xbox no luck.

Is there a fix?

Thank you for responding so quickly, I tried solution 1 and 3 before I posted in the forum but I tried them again just in case. Solution 2 I ran the troubleshooter and it fixed an issue talking about how my app store cache may be damaged. I restarted my
system and it still does not work.

Other than the fact that videos will not play on the app it seems to be working fine, although I have not tried party chat on it. But I can receive messages and connect to my xbox via game streaming.

If you still encounter the same issue, I recommend that you disable Game bar and Game DVR on your computer by performing the following steps below:

1. Press the Windows key and select the gear icon to access
   Settings.
2. Go to Gaming.
3. Click the switch below "Record game clips, Screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar"
   so that it turns Off.

Okay, we figured it out. While I was doing your suggestion to turn off game DVR I realized that my windows media pack version was wrong because I have the N version of windows. I had to download that and the app is fixed now. Thank you for your help!
