Video goes in and out on sharp aquos

    So...

I replaced my mistubishi diamond tv with a sharp aquos. I never had issues with the mistu. Now the video goes in and out when using the Xbox one. HD fios tv has no issues. Now when I change the settings from 1080p in the Xbox One to 720p the video issues
go away. And yes the sharp aquos supports 1080p. I will throw up a video in a bit.

So I have the Xbox One hooked up to my Onkyo system and single output hdmi to tv. Like on the mitsu. Fios runs the same way. No issues with fios only through xbox.

    Any ideas?

    :)

Check the HDMI cable, make sure your color depth is set to 24 bit, make sure you are set to RGB limited.

I changed out the HDMI cable and same thing, I figured it wasnt that as it worked fine on the old TV.

I changed all the video settings to low, 24 and rgb limited and still didnt fix the issue. However like I said earlier if you change it to 720p on the xbox one, it fixes it.

Here is the video of what it does.

It does the same for me but only 2-3 times within the first 10 minutes, and no more. My TV is a Philips.

Video goes in and out on sharp aquos

This is what Tech Support said to do... Going to try this when I get home from work.

    Please follow these troubleshooting steps.

    Issues for Video Display.

This is reset the resolution setting of the console.

    1. Do a hard reset on the console by pressing and holding the power button until it will turn off.

    1. Unplug all cords connected from the console and TV.

    2. Leave it rest for a minute.

    3. Plug back in cords.

    4. Press and hold the power button and eject button at the same time until you hear a beep or two.

Just a heads up it will boot up the console to a low resolution. Nothing to worry about.

You can just set up the resolution back to it's original setup or the resolution you want.

If these steps don't work. Please do contact us back here on Xbox support for further assistance

Can try but I think is not that. Other people did a console replacement with the same result. I think is because the HDMI signal for certain TV models. I have seen the same with a blu-ray player on a OKI TV, 1080p it blinks sometimes, 720p is fine.

Maybe it could be some lack of sync between X1 and TV via HDMI in some cases, as 1080p requires more transfer bandwidth.

But, if in the same TV other devices doesn't blink, then is not a TV failure, it could be a failure in communication between specific device and TV via HDMI.
