It varies from dev to dev but i think the rate that this community has grown has made the big companies realise how much money there is to be had and now its money that creates these games rather than passion

Join some clubs on Xbox and you'll be more likely to find other gamers with similar interests to yours. Also try different game Genres if you're feeling bored with the games you usually play, you never know, you might get really hooked on something you
didn't think about trying before. After I got Game Pass I tried a few different games that I wouldn't usually play and found I was enjoying them much more than the ones I would usually go to. Maybe a break from the 'grindy' games would be a good idea for the
moment. I'm currently enjoying a mix of Gang Beasts, project cars 2, rocket league and forza horizon 4. I would also recommend 'The Turing Test'. This one surprised me at how addictive it was! Great game!

I'm sorry you feel this way. As a gamer I'm moving more away from main stream AAA titles and more towards Indie games. However I'm a huge fan of the Battlefield series and even run a large platoon. The more popular a game franchise is, the more different
types of fans you encounter. I find Facebook groups a good place to meet like minded gamers. Talking over time you get to wheedle out the good from the bad and there are a lot of amazing people around. If you play more Indie type games the hardcore fanbase
are more passionate about the game and tend to be more caring towards the community. I hope you refind a passion for it. You just need make an effort to separate the good from the bad.
