Video Games = Violence?

There was violence way before video games. So it dosent make sense to me when people blame violence on video games.

It's easy for them to blame movies, video games or TV for violence they don't want to blame things such as War, Religion, or hate.

It's moronic to say video games cause violence because violence has been around for thousands of years were video games have not.

Don't get me wrong anything and everything can & May very well cause violence of some kind but that's just because it's how humans are.

That's just my two cents.

Depends on the person. Some ppl can take it....some can't. If you're crazy and play video games and go out and kill somebody...chances are it's b/c you were crazy beforehand.

I don't think the Legions of Hysterical Parents really understood the purpose of ratings systems for video games, but in recent years many do seem to have forgotten about it, going from hyper-moralism to picking up any M-rated gorefest for their 9 year-olds
because they're too busy or selfish to be more involved in their kids' development. Funny and sad.

Really?!? My post that said, "The more violence the better." got deleted. Are you serious mods? I would love to know what the reasoning for that was.
