Video content not working (TED, iPlayer, 4OD, 5OD... But YouTube does!)

just got got my new Xbox one but having problems with all the video apps except YouTube. They all will not play video content, as if they are all missing codecs. I get error 500, error 02001, and various others in the apps. T text content shows up in most
apps, just not the video.

have tried rebooting, logging back in, switching off internet, etc but no joy.

any suggestions?

4oD and new apps

Baffles me that 4oD and 5oD aren't in HD.

If iPlayer has no HD content then I don't see point.

In fact I don't see the point in any of the apps seeing as it's easier to view them on the PC.

It is a bit strange considering you can have Beacons for 4oD, 5oD, LOVEFiLM, YouTube etc. I guess it was just something that was overlooked.

 

Actually, it's really weird, lots of images and other content is missing, for example all the images associated with apps and games in the App Store. I can't figure it out. YouTube works fine, my 1 installed game works fine, but vast swaythes of visual content
seems missing or broken while text content is fine.

It was a BT Home hub thing.... Just needed to open Explorer and click through the BT set up for the new device
