Video captures not appearing on console

Video captures not working. The option to record is selected (I've tried shorter recordings, too) and the console pop up appears saying the capture is recorded but then it is not actually recorded.

Already done these checks/troubleshooting tasks:

Power cycled console

Cleared out all old clips (I keep up with that anyway.. I've been using this function for over a year on both the previous console and the new Series X)

Game does allow them

There is sufficient storage on console

Permissions are enabled in console settings Quality turned down to allow for easier capture

Captures previously worked until about 5 days ago.

My husband has had a few instances in the last couple days where captures haven't worked on Overwatch or Rocket League when they had always worked just fine. My current issues are suddenly part way through Mass Effect LE (ME3). I am lucky if I can get one or two to show up out of 30 attempts (that is a LOT of replayed cutscenes) and the last few I haven't been able to get it to work at all even with persistence .

Thanks for bringing this inquiry to us! Since you have already tried the steps mentioned on Troubleshoot recording game clips on Xbox | Xbox Support page, I would recommend trying another step which is preforming a Soft Reset to your console (Reset and keep my games & apps). It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data which might be the cause to this record issue without deleting your games or apps.

Give it a shot and let us know if can further assist with this or any other issues!

A half hour later, I am still having the same problem. We even deleted one of the largest games from internal storage and have well over 100 GB available internally. What is next?

Hi, will report back tomorrow on this! I work all 12 hour shifts and haven't been able to get on the console since I posted the question but have tomorrow off. Thanks for the suggestion. Fingers crossed.

You can use OneDrive. You get 5GB of storage for free.

In the capture settings on the console, you can set it so that captures are automatically uploaded to OneDrive if you like. You can also manually upload multiple captures to OneDrive at once via the Captures app. Also, you can upload an individual capture to OneDrive via the Share menu.

Once uploaded, screenshots will appear in the Pictures\Xbox Screenshots folder inside your OneDrive folder, and videos will appear in Videos\Xbox Game DVR.

The xbox one-em properly display that captures the video, but the xbox one profilomnál only allowed to see a video of the always-OMN xbox.com it just does not appear in a video game accomplishments
