Codemasters has something to share. What could it be? Well, let's run through the evidence: (1) there's a teaser video up on the GRID Youtube channel, (2) It's full of car noises, and (3) The video tagline is "brace yourselves - racing is coming". Sorry, I've
got nothing. Any thoughts to share?

Getting back on topic ...

I've been following various posts/tweet regarding Codemasters/Next gen version of this new Grid, quite a few think Codemasters are holding off giving out too much info whether it be about Grid, F1 etc until E3 so fingers crossed.

I'm still hoping to get official word on Forza Horizon 2, that would cheer me up. Some news on Project Cars would cheer me up aswell!

In fact, just give me news on any new racers coming lol

I guess the upside is at least I'll be playing it with a wheel rather than a controller since it's not coming out for next gen systems.

 

I thought it was rumoured they were reviving that other racing series again. Toca? Was that its name?

However, I agree with comment #1 on that site:

Yup, sounds legit. Just like Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, this is based on a moon.

In fact, it even ties into Borderlands. Handsome Jack is the villain you need to defeat at the end of the game with your awesome racing skills.

... I may have gone overboard with that idea.

 

There's still some speculation that it could still be a new TOCA game, personally I'd be over the moon if it was TOCA. As much as I enjoyed Grid & Grid 2 they don't compare to a fully fledged Touring Car game.

 

I enjoyed the Grid games but would rather TOCA or even a next gen F1 title than Grid.

 

Would love a new ToCA game.There's been some great racing games over the past few years but they weren't a patch on the old ToCA games.

 

I love more or less all racing titles and I know whether it's a new Forza, Grid, F1 .. I'll buy day one but ToCA hasn't been done for a while now and for me would be right at home on the new consoles.

Mind you, a totally new Destruction Derby type game wouldn't be bad either

Having a read through the link below, with the pictures posted in there seems to suggest to some that it is another TOCA title.

I'm gonna say it will be a new World Touring Car game, as much as i'd love one based on just the BTCC i don't think the market would be big enough to justify the expense. Now imagine how gutted we're all gonna be if it is Touring Cars and it's only for last
gen consoles lol.

 

It better not be for last gen consoles only, if it is I hold you fully responsible CODGER for even mentioning it!

A new grid would be awesome, was disapointed grid 2 came out just before the XB1........would have been a great launch title, got a feeling though its too early for a grid 3 appearance given the time between 1 & 2, hope im wrong.
