    Video APPs (include the Xbox Video app!) are going CRAZY.


    Is anyone else having this problem? It seems like any time we open a video app, including the xbox video app, it acts like we're spamming the "A" button on our controller and keeps opening things or continuously scrolling through the menu. We try to back
    out by pressing "B" but as I said before, the xbox acts like we're just holding down all the buttons at once. Its infuriating! If it does manage to open a video (that it chose, not us) it continuously pauses and unpauses it. Please helP!!

    Xbox One App Streaming

    Netflix app? Amazon video app? Xbox video app? Or all video streaming apps? Did you try a hard reset? Sorry you are having problems. I have only used Amazon and Netflix. So far nothing terrible happening for me yet. Though I use those apps infrequently

    iOS And Android Need Dedicated Video Apps

    I find it crazy that there hasn't been a dedicated video app for Xbox purchases on iOS and Android. I purchase all my movies on Xbox Movies And TV, formerly known as Xbox Video. Who else would like to see this implemented in the future?

    I went ahead and created a topic on User Voice. So hopefully it grows and people support it. Would love to see this actually happen.

    Prime Video

    It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

    Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
    2. Browse or search for Amazon.
    3. Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.
    To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select Amazon.

    Xbox Video app for WP8/8.1 and Personal Videos

    Hi Chris, something worth checking. Have you got your camera roll folder added to your video collection library so the Video app will index them?

    In the app, open the charms menu and click settings. Click Preferences and then at the top there is a link to include folders the app looks in to index videos.

    If you still can't see the app then I would recommend to
    clear the console system cache.

    ime getting the same problem every other video works including internet app they work perfect but videos on youtube app keep freezing all of a sudden i dont know what is happening

    How Do I record a video capture?

    That page is not in English. The video is but is out of date; it includes the "Record from now" option that has just been removed. There does not appear to be any information on that page about video apps, it's just an out-of-date video recording guide.

    In any case, the ability to record from now was an extremely useful feature, and going the long way round through extra apps is not a satisfactory response.
