Victim of Fraud?

On November 15th,

My Microsoft account got hacked. I called microsoft right away along with my credit card company letting them know I did not make these purchases. I had all my credit cards remove from my account. Now I am facing a 2 week suspension from Xbox live for Market
Place left. I tried to call Microsoft support who after an hour gave me the Corporate office which got me no where....

I filed a case review but with 500 word limit its relatively hard to explain the full situation.

Microsoft support cannot and will not help me and my decision was upheld.

I was a victim of fraud and now there is literally nothing I can do about to access my account for two weeks. I feel as im pretty much a victim of fraud from Microsoft now.... I have no way of recontacting the enforcement team to explain the situation....

Victim of Tenure Reset

I've just re-downloaded my profile again today and my correct tenure has come back. I would just like to point out that 2 days ago I cleared the cache and re-downloaded my profile only once and my tenure was still displaying 0. Today I tried signing in
once and the tenure was still 0. Then, I re-downloaded my profile and my correct tenure of 4 was displayed again.

Don't worry OIJA, Microsfot is working on it and soon the support staff will put up some sort of announcement when this is fixed. Please be patient.

 

you dont call ms when your Xbox account is compromised you call xbox support

The first thing that you should have done was contact xbox support to let them know that your account was compromised so that they could do an investigation to determine that your account was compromised then they would have looked into it and if your account
was compromised then they would have given you the refund for what was charged while your account was compromised when you went to your bank and said that it was fraud charges first Microsoft/xbox looks at that like you are trying to get an item for free and
that is why your account was suspended for marketplace theft.

Going to.your bank to skip.the queue isn't the right way to.do things

Sure it gets your money back instantly but it.looks bad when xbl pet looks at your refunds

The correct proccess is ask for a compromised access case and wait while the account is locked for 2-3 weeks while.they investigate the proccess the refunds which is ,3-5 business days then the rest is upto your bank

30-90.days depending on how long your bank processes international transactions if you don't live in the usa
