Some games offer the ability to turn off or limit the vibration on the controller but currently there is no option for turning it off completely. You can go here and vote for that functionality. xbox.uservoice.com/.../15123537-turn-off-vibration-in-controller

Had a look in the game settings and unfortunately there is no option there to turn the vibration off

Unfortunately, that is the deal breaker for me (inability to turn off controller vibrations).

It doesn't matter how much I want the game because I find the rumble feature to be incredibly annoying and it absolutely ruins my gameplay experience for me

From what I played of the beta your better off without it I didn't even bother downloading the 10hr trial

 

The beta must have sucked because I'm actually really enjoying the trial. I'll probably end up burning through my trial tonight and tomorrow and I have 9 hours left lol. It's good ol' need for speed with live action! The acting is so cheesy but I like it
haha.

 

Really ?? Maybe I jumped the gun then !! To be fair I probably didn't give it enough time so I might download the 10hr trial and give it another go

Is it true that there is no " Manual Transmission " in this game?

I only use Manual Transmission in NFS Carbon and Forza Motorsport 5 because Automatic Transmission is horrible

If you truly despise rumble, I would recommend disabling the motors in your controller. You would never have to worry about whether a game has settings to turn it off ever again.

^That's what I was thinking (well not that exactly), but you need to find a more permanent solution to this if it bothers you so much.

I think the elite controller allows you to turn off rumble so yeah, would never need to worry about it.

All of the Original Xbox games had the option to turn off the vibrations in the game menu.

The Xbox 360 allowed me to turn off the vibrations in the console settings options.

..........

The Xbox One does not have the ability to turn off the vibrations in the console setting options and not all of the games will allow me to turn off the vibrations on the games menu options.

..........

With that being said, I don't have the knowledge / know how to do that and I don't want to damage my controller.

So, I have to stop playing a game if I bought it and found out that there is no vibration off option (Skylanders Trap Team) or I just avoid a game completely (Need For Speed 2015).
