Vibration issue

not sure what is going on with my remote, but when i play titanfall i feel no trigger vibration at all. i bought a brand new controller yesterday and still got the same issue. When i play dead rising 3 i get some trigger vibration, but only when the gun
your holding is on its last 10 bullets or so. i tried crimson dragon and the trigger vibration works the entire time. is it a game issue? or something else? it seems certain games make it work and others don't?

Please add an option to disable vibration!

I'm unable to play video games with vibration on the controllers and I assumed there'd be a universal option to disable controller vibration; but alas there is not.

Please, in a future update gives us an option to disable vibration because I don't want to resort to cutting the vibration pads on my controller to solve the issue.

 

Controller vibration stopped working on 2 different controllers

Make sure that the game you’re playing supports vibration. Not all games support vibration of game controllers.

If the game you’re playing does support vibration, make sure that vibration is enabled. For more information, see the user’s manual for that game.

Make sure that the battery pack or batteries in your wireless controller are fully charged. When the controller detects that the charge in the battery pack or batteries is low, it turns off vibration to conserve the remainder of the charge.

If you have another Xbox One Wireless Controller, try to reproduce vibration in the second controller. If the second controller reproduces the same issue, it’s likely that the game you’re using is having an issue. Consult the troubleshooting information
for that game.

 

Can you check the in-game menus to ensure that the vibration options are turned on?

 

yes, vibration is turned on. the whole controller vibrates, just not the trigger.

 

Hey there, Divine! Sorry to see that a new controller didn't fix the trigger vibration for you! This seems like a game specific issue if it was happening before but it's no longer working in that game; especially with a new controller.

I suggest checking out EA's Titanfall help page to see if they have a known issue for this and to submit a bug to them. That will be the best way to get that fixed.

Seems to be a game issue, everyone else i ask about there remotes on Titanfall or DR3 seem to have no problem at all. is it possible that it could be some sort of software issue on the Xbox? i don't recall the triggers working when i played the Destiny beta
or call of duty. I think it's a very strange issue considering Microsoft put so much emphasis on the trigger vibration being part of the newly designed controller. it works on some games for some people, but in my case works on very few games.
