very very displeased with X-BOX

I am extremely disappointed with Xbox lives bullshart security,which to my experience has been spotty at best,and useless. almost 3 months ago i bought my fist Xbox live subscription in six years( it was the free trial,i had another account six years ago
that lasted about 3 months.).i had played offline for almost six years and the moment i was signed into xbox live,all of my achievements were erased,all my game data was erased... even my gamer-score was erased...it was wiped clean..within a week or two i
had to call Microsoft because some one was hacking a game and i had called him on it.he spouted off my full name and legal address and threatened to have me killed.they basically said try to ignore him...a few weeks later i was ddosed by someone...13 times
in one week...and the guy was bragging to people about it.i even had to replace my router.so again i call Microsoft."sorry file a complaint" was there only response.so after a little research on legal issues and called them again and demand that they press
charges on him (because the guy stepped through Xbox to get to me) or call the proper authorities. again they said nothing could be done.so i hit the books again and the more i read the laws the more i thought that Microsoft should be charged with aiding and
embedding a known criminal by denial to report a crime preformed through them to the proper authorities.so instead of calling them i went into a chat room and demanded to know the guys name and address(so i could file **** charges against him) here is the
same link they gave me...Xbox 360 : Top Issues .so finally with nothing more to go on than a gamer-tag,i had to go to the FBI cyber crime department and filed a formal report,oh
and i mentioned Microsoft refusal to contact the authorities.after that my console has been running terribly. freezing for around two minutes whenever i pause,open home menu,send a message or invite,receive or open messages,try to pen my setting,and every
time i try to join a game...im here typing red faced because my account is unable to be signed into,meaning somebody screwed me again.i hate Xbox with every ounce of my soul,i think all of Microsofts products(this pc included) is garbage,fraudulent,and that
they lie about"caring more about security than anything else."an i intend to push my first amendment right to its limits to spread my opinion and story with everyone i can.

The reason why you are being charged $99 is because the console is beyond its warranty period for that type of repair. MS does not even have to touch its products beyond the warranty period but as a courtesy to the consumer they
do.

When you had the RRoD 'fiasco' once you got the console back you were given a 30 day Gold code as compensation so tell us they don't care.

You want to play Xbox again? Pay the repair fee. If not then head on over to Sony and the PSN. Just be aware that you'll spend more money switching versus updating to a newer more reliable Xbox console. But hey if you enjoy wasting
money then by all means...

 

DDoS attacks are actually done through your Internet, not Xbox. Which is why Xbox can't really do anything about them. You would actually need to go through your ISP, not Microsoft, for help with those and to have them try to track down who is doing it.

 

yes,but he got my ip through being in a game with me on xbox,plus the

fact that he said he did it in front of witnesses,and through

messeges,makes it thier responsibility to tell the proper

authorities...like if i sent some one a message saying i killed a guy

and burried him at this location with a picture of a pineapple in his

pocket,if they go dig a hole and find a guy with a picture of a

pineapple in his pocket....do you think they would hesitate to use that

message against me?**** no.and if they do it for one crime they should

do it for both.
