    my name is Troy and I been an Xbox user for the pass 5 years every series of Xbox came out I bought it all got it as a gift , but now my Xbox s is giving me trouble and I can’t deal with the fact you have to speck with a robot to get all your concerns
    taken care of and sometimes they not understanding your Concerns there is an error occurred on my tv asking me to report this ID DYAX4W JeoKYSgsCo and to me that’s a big problem because I jus got this One for Christmas and I just set it up on Wednesday and
    now it has an error come Microsoft

    We all hate to hear this, And i understand your frustration, Ive sent 10 xboxs ATLEAST back to xbox. But there may be a soloution. When you close the tray, Tap right above where the disk is located, And try this a few times. If it doesn't work. Please quote
    me again.

    It wont read discs at all? Here is a trick you might not have heard yet. Open and close the disc tray but not all the way. Open it and close it like 20 times. Then tell me if your disc is unreadable Very Unsatisfied customer :)

    The reason why you are being charged $99 is because the console is beyond its warranty period for that type of repair. MS does not even have to touch its products beyond the warranty period but as a courtesy to the consumer they
    do.

    When you had the RRoD 'fiasco' once you got the console back you were given a 30 day Gold code as compensation so tell us they don't care.

    You want to play Xbox again? Pay the repair fee. If not then head on over to Sony and the PSN. Just be aware that you'll spend more money switching versus updating to a newer more reliable Xbox console. But hey if you enjoy wasting
    money then by all means...

    Unfortunately these folks are correct. There isn't much you can do. If you can't afford a new console and only used ones, try and get an extended warranty from where ever you buy it from, then if you have problems with it, take it back from where you go
    it. The older versions of the Xbox can be notoriously finicky if they weren’t taken care of properly and there’s just no way to know how someone treated the Xbox before you bought it used.

    The new slims are much more stable and better overall and I highly recommend getting one, if it’s in your budget. Some places (Like Best Buy) will sell extended warranties through their own stores as well as the MS warranty. I know the money stacks up quickly,
    but in the long run it’s cheaper to buy new and with a warranty than it is to try and get things repaired and buying used consoles over and over.

    Sorry to hear of your problems but Tem is correct. The reason that you are being required to pay is because you purchased a used console that is long out of warranty. Also, you need to remember that when you purchase something used you don't know what's
    wrong with it or what's been done to it. It is a risk that you take.

    I would recommend purchasing a brand new console to avoid this type of situation in the future.
