    Hello,

    I am writing in the forum because i am running out f options. I have been an xbox customer for 4 moths and it has been awful.

    I have had 4 faulty gamepads, 1 faulty headset, 1 downloaded game that didn't work, unaccessible group chat for several weeks.

    I have been hung up on the phone by your french counterparts, service is not a french thing.

    An American customer advocate was supposed to investigate my claims, he never called me back.

    I asked for a partial refund, i was told to put the request in in writing and send it by registered post to your HQ in France. No Answer.

    I now have spent 1200$ and keep having problems.

    I would appreciate to hear from someone.

    Hi there.



    To cancel your xbox LIVE account you will have to call the xbox support line for your region, they should also be able to refund you your money for the subscription that has just renewed as well.

    I've been trying to cancel my Xbox Live account for 2 weeks now, but every time I go to xbox.com I've been getting this screen: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9913244/sitedown.png

    I must have tried 5 or 6 separate times in the last two weeks to get in and close my account. Today I get an email that I've been automatically rebilled for the next 3 months! I don't think this is right, so I would like to have the latest charge refunded
    and then I'd like to close the account. I fortunately figured out a backdoor way to get into the Xbox forums via the Windows Live site, but your website ought to be working correctly regardless. I'm holding off on closing it now until I hear back via this
    forum or some other way.

    Sounds like a lot has happened in the last few months. While we're not able to issue or offer any refunds here on the forums (you'd need to speak with the chat or phone team about that). We're more than happy to assist with any sort of troubleshooting that
    we can. To clarify though, were you able to get your controller replaced so that it's working for you now? What about the headset and the downloaded game? What happens when you try to use Group Chat?

    Hey there SorryImSoAce,

    Sorry to hear the update happened while you we're playing the game. Forced updates tend to happen when the console or game hasn't been updated before it's required to do so. To clarify, ARK is in a Game Preview state and is prone to updates on a regular
    basis. It's also common for you to see updates often if you are in the Xbox One Preview program.

    One way to alleviate updates so that they're more seamless is to have the console in an Instant On mode and allow for Auto Updates. This page will show you the different Power Modes and how to turn those features on.

    You can also manually check for updates by going to Settings > System > Console info & updates. If an update is available for the console, you'll see the option to update there. You'll also want to reach out to the ARK support team for more support since
    the game is in a preview state. They'll have the best information on any updates for the game as well.

    did you get a receipt from the store at point of purchase as this usually states if the card was activated, can't blame Microsoft when your purchasing from a third party.
