Very strange Xbox One Controller and Xbox Live connection issue.

I've been having a very strange issue with my Xbox one. Almost constantly whenever I'm using the Xbox my Xbox controller will drop its connection every 5 to 20 seconds at random intervals and about a second or two after my controller loses connection my
Xbox console follows and drops its Xbox live connection. Then about a second later both the controller and the Xbox live reconnect quickly. I'm still able to watch Netflix since it buffers enough between the rapid connection drops but unable to play any game
online or off since the console and controller don't stay connected for more than 30 seconds. The Wi-Fi signal strength is as strong as possible. It's as if there's some kind of interference cutting both my wi-Fi and controller connection for a split second
every couple seconds at random intervals. Although any of my other devices like my laptop or phone never lose their connection to Wi-Fi even for a second. The controller and Xbox live always disconnect together. The controller or console never lose connection
alone, only together simultaneously. I've tried removing any forms of interference such as my laptop, phone, amp, anything metallic, join any other electronic device that broadcasts or receives and any other electronics. My console is only about 5 feet away from
my controller. I've changed the controller batteries more than once and tried a wired connection and still get the same problem. Ive contacted xbox support and they weren't able to diagnose the problem. Im at a loss, any help would be appreciated.

Network Connection Issue VERY Strange

OK so something weird happened to me about a week ago, I noticed my Xbox's (3 of them) seemed slower then usual so I ran a Detailed Network Statistics Test on the Console and I noticed something strange. My connection ranged from 10Mbps to 60Mbps which to
some people seems like a lot but usually my connection is over 250Mbps and all 3 consoles have open nat (I have a good ISP).

Now here is a list of things I have tried to fix this issue.

-Reset Modem and Router (Several Times)

-Connect Directly to Modem (Wired and Wireless)

-Tested Network with other devices (2 Cell phone and 1 Laptop)

-Format Router and Modem to Factory Settings (Also tried to update firmware on both)

-Format Xbox One (YES I DID IT)

-Test and replaced all Ethernet Cables (YES ALL)

So after all that I am still having the same issue and when I contacted customer support they knew nothing beyond "Reset Everything and Call us back"

If anyone has and ideas please let me know

and yes all 3 consoles have the same issue and yes other devices run at proper speeds

i have the same issue and party chat is messed up for me i have an open nat and everything else on the network is good but the xbox one and the xbox do not let me connect to parties do you know why and the download speed issue is common among all users i
would just wait it out till a new xbox update comes out

 

Hi, as a first step could you try clearing the alternate Mac address on the Xbox as that can sometimes help a lot.

You do that by going to settings/ all settings/ network/ advanced settings/ alternate Mac address, select clear and then select restart.

 

unfortunately that didn't work

 

I also am having same issue. Xbox One controller works before Xbox Live signin and then every 15-20 seconds it disconnects. I however do not get the random wireless drop as I use a wired connection.

I had tried the plug-play charger, directly wired, new batteries and even a friends controller. No luck even friends controller showing same issue. I had presumed something has happened to my Xbox then, but then I find this post of exactly what has happened
to me too.

Just thought I post this message as I had similar issue, and others may have it too thinking their Xbox One is broke. I think if Xbox aknowledge this error hopefully its just a simple update fix.
