Very slow internet connection; Main menu is not smooth

Hi,

since I have my Xbox One (more than 2 years now), I have a very bad internet connection. I should get 16000 kbit/s from my ISP, which works on
every device I own perfectly, but not on my Xbox One (but it does on my Xbox 360). I only get 2000-6000 kbit/s, which is really slow. Imagine downloading a 50GB game with 300kB/s. That takes... ~46.3 hours,
so thats really not fun. When I buy a game in the store and it has a day one patch or whatever, I can wait for ages to be able to play. Even Updates take forever..

I contacted my ISP and there is no problem, my NAT is opened, I tried Wifi connection and a LAN connection. The connection of my Xbox to my Router per wifi is absolutely fine, the bandwidth is 10 times bigger than what I get. I priorized the Xbox on
my Router, changd the Xbox DNS like the support told me, nothing helps.

I live in Germany, we have here ~200ms ping to the Xbox Live servers, which is really bad. It's not only me. I don't know what's wrong, are the Xbox servers just super slow? The people I know also have a slow connection, even if they live in other parts
of europe.

It's just no fun like this.

Also, the main menu of the Xbox One is very... laggy compared to the Xbox 360 one. It doesn't react to controller inputs directly very often. Also, animations were made pretty badly, sometimes they look like they should (smooth), often they just "jump" at
the end.

I hope you can make the Xbox One system better. I tested the menu on several consoles in the stores, it's everywhere the same, but most people don't seem to notice.

Can someone help me? Can you fix this, Microsoft?

Slow Internet downloading speed on my Xbox one

Why When I download a Game the internet download speed go very slow after minutes

But my internet connection is good !

Any solution ?

 

Upgraded to fibre optic Broadband made gaming far worse.

In my experience the players with the slowest connections cause the one with fast connections to lag while they themselves are unaffected.Its not fair,I know.My speed is super slow(3mb) and I hear guys with 30mb speeds complain about lag when my game is
running smooth.

 

By simply clearing your console cache you will have a much better response from the console and a better fluidity among menus.

Follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

Don't you worry through this method none of your saved data will be erased.

I also forgot to mention that I reset my console/firmware completely 3 weeks ago, which didn't help, too.

I wanted to download and play the Forza Horizon 3 Demo today, but the 4GB Update took hours and now I only get 0,3MB/s, so it'll take around 14 hours... So I won't be able to play that today.. that's really frustrating.
