Very slow downloads on my Xbox X

Discus and support Very slow downloads on my Xbox X in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Used to have download speeds between 60 to 100 Mb/s on my Xbox.     Very slow downloads on my Xbox X


    Used to have download speeds between 60 to 100 Mb/s on my Xbox. Bought an Xbox X and my download speeds are around 5 Mb/s.What am I missing?

    Very very very slow download

    Found the fault .. Google DNS

    Used OpenDNS and Xbox one speed tests are now closer to my actual speeds. Deleted BF4 and re-downloaded it and it downloaded in no time at all.

    Tried to see if this fixed it for PS4 as well... No such luck. PSN servers truly are terrible.

    Very very very slow download

    Is your PC on a hardline. wireless thing get less download rate.

    Very slow downloads on my Xbox X

    Are you over WiFi or Ethernet? I suggest the latter, as 4K content downloads are quite big, and Ethernet is the most reliable way to connect your Xbox to the internet.

    If you are currently streaming, like on Mixer (for example), background downloads would be slowed significantly.

    Ethernet.

    My friend has same router, Netgear R7000 and same ISP as me, and his downloads are even faster now with his X. I must be missing a step.

    Sunset Overdrive Installation Stopped (XSX)

    After a very slow download and getting the same error I was able to download the game to my Series X to test it. There may be a problem with the download servers for this game, try installing it again in a few days.

    I'm thinking it's the baby monitor interfering with the wifi. It's in the same room as the Xbox.
