    Very poor cloud streaming performance despite solid 1 Gbps wired connection


    I'm getting network warnings when attempting to stream but everything seems fine on my end. Google and Fast.com speed tests both have me in the 900ish Mbps down, 600 Mbps up. Speedtest.net is reporting even better results.

    I've posted a video sample on Reddit.



    Unfortunately, there are no metrics in the app for me to figure out what's wrong so I can't figure out if it's just a local issue or one with the service or servers I'm hitting. The Xbox service status isn't reporting any issues. This is the first time I really try it out so I don't have any previous experience to compare to. Local streaming from my Xbox to me PC works fine.

    This is on a Windows 11 machine, fully updated.



    Any ideas on how to start troubleshooting?

    It just seem to be a server issue Steel. I'll suggest you give it some time and then try again

    Interesting! The web version is much better, though the image quality is pretty poor. It looks like a 480p stream, though I don't know if that's just how it is either way.

    Try to stream it via the Web and see if that makes a difference www.xbox.com/play

    I'm using the app on Windows 11 21H2 (22000.282). The same issue also exists on the Android app, however.
