(Very) old email is associated to my account.

So I thought I would give World of Tanks a go on the ol' 360. When I get to the game it tells me that it'll set up an account associated with my live profile, that's fine - who would mind some good ol' tank spam? Only problem is that the email it tells me
is "associated with your Xbox live account" is a really really old one - as in I haven't even got the faintest notion of where - if anywhere - it exists. There's no option to select another email.

I've changed my email. I quite distinctly remember doing so because microsoft required like 8 different checks to be performed before I could do so

I can log onto live.com with my current email. I can connect to my xbox account on my friends' xbox without issue using my current email.

I haven't even seen the email address that WoT wants to use for years.

So my question becomes how the heck do I fix this? I really want my tank spam ****!

Forgotton email password

I recently figured out that the email account associated with my new xbox live account was very old and I didn't use it much anymore so I figured I'd change it. However unfortunatly I cannot remember the password or the alternative email that is associated
with that account. I also cannot contact the windows live support because the account is so old and I remember nothing about it. Is there any way for me to change my email account associated with my xbox live account without the password?

So, how many of you are 10 year Xbox Live gamers?

I started with the xboxlive beta with the headset and MotoGP disk, but I currently have a new different gamer tag due to my associated Hotmail account going inactive, due to not logging into email, and thus preventing me from renewing the live account. I had to create a new account while I went through the steps of recovery for the Hotmail address. Once recovered, I simply stayed with my new gamer tag... Now associated with the old Hotmail account. :-(

I considered it, but since the email it's finding is given to it from the xbox, I figured it to be an xbox issue first and foremost. I'm assuming that any other game with a similar login system would also be given this ancient email.

I changed email addresses from the original one that I used when I set up my Microsoft account to a new email address. I believe that I did change the alias to the new email address. I made the new email address the primary alias and the old email address the secondary. I will be deleting the account associated with the old email address soon and it will no longer be supported after I do that.

I'm trying to re-associate my old Microsoft account (with a Google address) with my current gamertag. I did learn that the old account was indeed associated with a free Silver gamertag for reasons I cannot remember. In order to make the switch to the old
account, I renamed the old account with a new email address, in hopes that I could somehow reclaim the old address. However when I tried to rename, I received the error: 'email isn't available'. What happened to it? Why can't I reclaim it???

Thanks for this info. I tried signing in with the old email address and it tells me there is no account associated with it. I've confirmed that the old email account is not listed anywhere in my profile as well.

I think maybe I'll have to try getting in touch with support by submitting the issue as something not associated with email, as using that as an option seems to send me to the forums and not allow me to speak to a support tech.
