Very low streaming quality.

Hi! First of all, im from Mexico so excuse me for my poor english... Well, ive been reading some posts about troubleshooting since the last update, but my problem its a bit different: i dont get disconnected from xbox live but i just cant do anything
that requires internet connection. I mean, if i turn on the console i dont have any trouble for a while. But suddenly internet freezes and i cant even load an app or the online game store, and its just the xbox, because any other device connected to the router
has no problem. Im wondering maybe its my modem/router but i prefer to check with you guys. So

Only the xbox 1.

Things you have tried:

Port forwarding, different cable, factory reset modem (this works for a while, about 15 min), static ip... I reset my console like in energy-saving mode and it also works, i run the conecction test and the packet loss is 0%, but in 15min goes to 100%.

Open. No NAT error.

Any Error Codes you encounter:

All kind of codes about failed connections to everything (apps, xbox live servers, code exchange)

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider):

Telmex Infinitum.



It may be a setup problem, but if its a modem problem maybe you could suggest what kind of modems works better with xbox 1 so i can buy one... Well, hope i make myself clear, thanks!!

Can you also try streaming on a lower quality? You could also file feedback from the app, but the quality setting will tell us some too.

Watch Hulu in Low Quality on Xbox 360?

I keep hitting my ISP's monthly data limit and need to lower the quality of streaming on hulu. I've changed it on Hulu.com, and the quality remains low on my laptop, but it did not lower the quality on my Xbox. I have found no way to lower in the App or
on Hulu's website. Any ideas?

 

Lots of connection problems since update , and mostly on modem router combos like you have , you did say you did the port forwarding AND had UPNP enabled , you cant do both , you may be confusing the router ...you could also try and put that router in "bridge
mode" which should make it just a modem , then plug only the xbox straight into it and see if it acts any different....as far as routers , imo , Netgear is the most xbox friendly , but get one that is geared towards gaming and supports "multiple consoles"
(even if you have only one console , if it supports more , you'll know its a gaming router) also get a modem ONLY and a router ONLY ...no combos or "gateways"
