    Very low/No Audio in Game Captures After Alpha Update


    After getting the mandatory Alpha update at 3am Thursday Morning all new game clips I create have very little if any audio to them at all.

    I have tried:

    • Hard Boot
    • Cold Boot
    • Stereo Uncompressed
    • Windows Sonic For Headphones
    • Dolby Atmos for Headphones
    • Allow Audio Pass through
    • Optical Via TV
    • USB Headset
    • HDMI audio to TV

    The result is the same. None of my clips have perceivable audio after the Alpha Update.

    Hope you are well. I'll be glad to assist you.

    Unfortunately, clips do not capture audio from voice chat groups, they only capture in-game audio.

    Some users choose to use external capture cards for this purpose.

    Looks like the June patch fixed it...thanks.

    Having another issue related to the new patch...

    The audio is now very low... I tried playing with the stereo and Dolby5.1 settings with no improvement.

    Anyone else have trouble with their audio... at first I hear speech really low volume but effects high.

    Now after switching to stereo...the sound in inconsistent.

    Hello fellow gamer, there are 2 methods I use, method 1, Is using an xbox adpater and turning the sound up on there or, method 2, pressing the home button going to the settings tab then press Audio and turn the all of them till you can here youre gaming
    or party chat sound,

    Have you been streaming or recording plays at all? And have you tried a hard reset? I had this problem yesterday afternoon but resolved after a hard reset and reconnecting my audio equipment.

    Use the xbox ambasador app on ypur xbox and see if ther is an Beta update (maby fixed)
