  1. Very Laggy and flickering while stream the XOne to Windows 10 Laptop

Hey guys. So, i've bought an XOne, because it's easy to me to stream the games to my laptop, so I can play without using my TV, so my wife and daughter can watch their programs, and I can play my games without problems. But, using the XBOX One App to stream
showed me some problems. If i choose the Low Quality, the stream runs fine, but te response time is very big. If I put the quality on Medium, it starts flickering and sometimes, when i click "down" for example, it jumps 2, 3 icons/options. I've already replaced
my router (now i've an TPLink with 300mbps 2.4GHz), my wireless adptader also is a 300mbps. Everything is at 3 mts of the router. Tried put the XBOX on Wireless and Wired, same problem. Using the XBOX Dev Mode Companion I can stream without big problems (some
freeze or some lag randomly, but at most part of the time pretty playable), but on my laptop it's impossible.

    My specs are Windows 10 1703 (15063.483), Core i5 460m (also tried on an i3 380m), 8GB DDR3, SSD 120GB.

Tried a clean boot, on Windows 10 and also a complete power cicle on XBOX One. Tried put the XBOX Wired, and also tried put both wired, no success. Tried on a laptop of a friend, an i5 6300m 8GB DDR3 and a GTX 960, no problems at all, so i've thougt it could
be something with my laptop, even that it matchs the recomended specs to use the stream.

    :)

  2. How can I use my laptop as a monitor?

    Hey there,

I wouldn't say you can't but it's very rare to find a laptop that has an input/output HDMI port, most laptops these days have output only HDMI ports, you can still stream your XOne to your PC thanks to the Xbox one app on Windows 10.

Very Laggy and flickering while stream the XOne to Windows 10 Laptop

    Hi,

Streaming issues on Windows 10, may occur due to several reasons. If you have a poor network connection or an older wireless network card driver, it can initiate scans of wireless networks in the background. Some, but not all, wireless cards can be asked
    not to scan as frequently.

    For Intel Wi-Fi devices:

    1. Right-click on the Start icon.
    2. Select Device Manager.
    3. Expand Network Adapters.
    4. Right-click on Intel <name of wireless card>.
    5. Select Properties from the menu.
    6. Select the Advanced tab.
    7. Select Roaming Aggressiveness from the Properties list.
    8. Change value to 1. Lowest from the drop-down list.

This will put the Intel driver in the lowest scanning mode.

    For Qualcomm (Atheros) Wi-Fi devices:

    1. Right-click on the Start icon.
    2. Select Device Manager.
    3. Expand Network Adapters.
    4. Right-click on Wi-Fi Adaptor.
    5. Select Properties from the menu.
    6. Select the Advanced tab.
    7. Change Scan Valid Interval to 120. (The default is 60.)

  5. I'll try that! Just to update, i've tried on another laptop, with and AMD C60 processor, and an AMD Radeon HD6290 Graphics, and, besides some lags, and random freezes, run very well. Complete 2 parts of Gears of War playing on it, but i ust got it borrowed

  7. So guys. I've tested the Stream on another 3 computers.

An AMD C60 Laptop, an Celeron N2820, and a Centrium Single Core 1.4Ghz (Sorry, dont remeber the right model). All the three was a piece of garbage to do ANYTHING. Can't even open Reddit on them, but, the first 2 made the stream pretty well. The N2820 runs at
maximum quality withou problems. C60 runs on HIGH. With the Centrium i've the same problem with my i3 and i5. I've got the wireless card from the N2820, installed it on my i5 and tried the stream. Not working. So, i suppose it's something related to my GPU.
Some decoder or anything like that, and the Intel GPU's that i've in hands cant handle it.

So, I give up. Will wait some time, and buy a new cheap laptop just for browsing and stream my xbox. Maybe a new AMD APU Mobile come from de Ryzen series come until then.

Anyway, thanks for the help guys!
