Very easy to understannd forum

I'm totally with you here. Feels like my posts in the forums get lost in the ether. Not sure how to exactly navigate these forums anymore.....very frustrating. Half the time I have a hard time getting forum pages to load properly. I hope the xbox team can
fix this soon.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that this isn't the way the new forums are suppose to work, that the kinks are getting worked out for something glorious.

Sometimes I wish I could set the forums to easy so everyone can get along.

I play on easy/whatever is the lowest because I value my time. Why should I play on hard or something just to play the exact same content as the easy mode but with was frustration, restarting and dying? Where is the fun in that?

Ok, I don't have the time to read through all these posts right now because I'm at work, so please bear with me on this. I can't tell you specifically what my job is or where I work, but I can tell you that it involves gaming on a large level and I'm not
a professional player. I'm actually fairly mediocre at most games, and some I even outright suck at, but here I am. I've been playing PC and console games for about 20 years and I will continue to play as long as games are still around and the apocalypse doesn't
happen soon. I play almost anything and I love it. I only start yelling when the game "cheats" and rarely get upset enough to quit. I might take a break though. Anyway, as an average player and someone who works with gaming all day, every day, here's my 2
cents on this matter.

The first thing to remember when you get upset over easy modes, and I know someone already said this, is that it isn't just 20 somethings that play anymore. When I was a kid it was pretty much just other kids that played with a few exceptions like my mom,
whom I fought with over the SNES and what to play almost every day . Now though, you have everyone from grandmas to 4 year olds playing all sorts of games, and parenting is getting more and more lax, so younger people are playing more adult games. Do I agree
with kids playing these games? For the most part no. Am I going to complain about it? No, because they aren't my kids and it's the parents' right, not mine, to say yes or no. So yes, I like having a bunch of different levels to play at. Not only does it allow
me to get used to a game and play on my level, it also gives me a reason to play said game over and over at different difficulties. Even though I'm not the best player I can usually get partly through the hard modes, but it does infuriate me when games are
impossibly hard. If I were you I would be more concerned with something like that than easy difficulties.

With that said, is your ego really more important than everyone having fun? The developers probably wont agree since having easy difficulties makes their games suitable to a larger market. So I think you will have to get used to it. If you play for just
your score than run through it real quick. It shouldn't take long if you're as good a player as you say. The important part is that unless you play only for your score and achievements then you don't have to play the easy modes, so what's the problem?
