    Absolutely disgusted by the Xbox customer service I received today. I feel Microsoft stole money from me. I spoke to them on 12/24/13 when my children received gift cards from family members. Their goal was to have xbox live gold. the employee talked me
    thru getting them the one month free memberships and told me we needed 415 more in Xbox currency to get the 12 month membership. i went out and bought more and loaded them in system. now when my childrens one month trials ended and i went to purchase 12 month
    it wanted another $59.99 from. I called and even spoke to a supervisor who told me it did not matter what his employee had told me I could have googled and seen that the regular Xbox currency cards cannot be used to purchase Gold membership. So now that we
    had purchased enough of the currency cards to have $60 on hand he wants me to go pay another $60. They claim to have recorded calls so I asked him to listen to it. Their employee is who had me go spend more money and load it there. Supervisor continually stated
    that did not matter. i feel disgusted as large a company as Microsoft would treat a customer like this.

    Xbox One Problem

    My kinetic went out on my xbox one and I feel like Microsoft is giving me the run around, I have been a loyal customer for years, now it seems customer service has went down, why is it taking so long to get a shipping label? What happened to sending a box?
    When did the loyal customers become the lowest people in your area? I guess making money is more important then customer service and honoring your warranty. Very disappointed

    Yes i have tried restarting my modem and router. As you can see from my first post my internet speeds are very good. This is a complete failure of Microsoft and its xbox live service. Very Unprofessional Microsoft. I'm a paying customer who cant enjoy
    the services i'm supposed to receive. Hope this will get fixed soon. This is Ridiculous! i am very disappointed as a Customer and supporter of Xbox.

    Unfortunately the first person you spoke with lied to you. In the future when purchasing cards,, it specifically states on the front what it can be used to buy.

    Sorry that you had a poor experience with customer service. Everyone may occasionally have the wrong answer when asked questions at work, it is highly possible that the first representative you spoke with also made a mistake and provided the wrong answer.
    I can assure you though, the calls are monitored for quality assurance and if the call is graded by a member of the quality assurance team and the agent is heard providing incorrect information, he or she will be coached on the matter. If the agent continues
    to provide incorrect information after being educated about the issue, it can result in disciplinary action. But, the calls cannot be pulled for the purposes of verifying that you were given incorrect information. So, the supervisor your spoke with when you
    called back is correct, you would not be able to use the currency card for subscription time... and no, he cannot pull the call himself to verify the misinformation provided to you. Customer service, unfortunately, cannot operate like a store-front because
    too many bad apples try to take advantage with all the "he said, she said" that customer service hears from customers. If you were at a retail store an employee may be able to verify that they gave you the wrong information and a member of management might
    be able to rectify the situation, but this is not possible in a call center environment. As a member of the Xbox Community myself and as a volunteer of the Ambassador program, I am truly sorry that this happened. I know I would be very disappointed as well
    if it happened to me. But, as stated above, also be sure to check the card itself to see what services/content, etc may be purchased with a prepaid card.

    I can no longer run Red Dead Redemption 2 story mode offline since the last xbox one update. I have the physical disc.

    There is no fix! :( Microsoft/Xbox just gets to pocket our money, and we don't get to play the game.

    Very very disappointed in Xbox for basically stealing from its customers by doing this.
