Very disappointed with Microsoft

I would just like to say that I am very disappointed with Microsoft atm, people have had problems with COD; Advanced Warfare for (in the UK) over 10 hours now and I haven't seen a single post by a forum mod or support person in ANY thread.

Not ONE yet, in ten hours

what are you people doing? It only takes 2 minutes to sticky a post at the top saying that "we are working on the problem" just to say that you are doing something.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, but please don't "ever" give out your email on the forums. Just curious, but have you ever bought membership on the Xbox360?

Sorry to hear that you're upset. There was an issue with downloading CoD to your consoles but, according to the service page, it has been fixed. If you are still experiencing issues then please delete the game and redownload it.

all i can do ingame is single player, it tells me that COD: AW cannot connect to xbox live

 

It could be a glitch because of the downloading issues. Try heading to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and click Clear Persistent Storage 3 times then hold the power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts down.

If that doesn't solve the problem you may need to delete the game and redownload it.

 

So the only option is to delete a 46gb game, and then try to re-install? I have done this a few times, and it is still downloading at the SAME speed. This surely can't be the ONLY fix. Because at this rate, the download won't even be finished until well
after the official hard copies come out tonight....

 

try standing on you head, count to 50... run around in the yard.... then go to a friends house that has a hard copy.. and steal his... cause I think that is the only way those of us that got the digital "preorder" are getting the game.

 

Official response is to delete the game and redownload it .... what utter *** , M$ need to get their head out of their arses and sort this out, what an embarrassment with such a high profile release.

 

I really don't blame Microsoft for all this! I blame myself! I was stupid enough to spend $399 on a console that I knew had issues. Secondly, I was stupid enough to spend a couple hundred more on disked games that are required to be installed on the hard
drive. Thirdly, I was stupid enough to pre order a digital download of COD / AW from the Microsoft store. Microsoft didn't make me do all this, unfortunately I did it to myself.

All I can say is I have learned a valuable life lesson.

 

Consider yourself lucky Wildcat, some of us dropped $500 for this hurry up and wait console. I too am on my last leg with this box. To think the Xbox, and 360's gave me so much pleasure and the One being such a huge box of disappointment. Last night I felt
just like the day I tried out my day one console. Disappointed and a bit mad. Spend my hard earned money only to have to wait for 56K type speed and 1999 load times whether digital or disc. I never liked digital downloads and will never buy another. Like many
others I preordered, preloaded COD to play it right away and get double XP only to have it fail to launch at 12am. Had to delete and reload it. Today at 8am I was at 43%, went to work and came back, it was at 42%. Played the first few levels while I could
and still at 42%. So I just uninstalled it and have to try and reload it again. So by the time this actually works Nov 3 is gone. Even more of a disappointment is the lack of any kind of feedback on this site. This console really reminds me of Windows 95 where
the fix for everything as far as MS was concerned was to "Reboot the pc please".

 

Fifty, that is about the only smart choice I made. I refused to get an Xbox One at launch and waited until they dropped the Kinect. I also passed on the $99 COD / AW Pro Edition because my gut told me something would go wrong with the download. At least
I'm only out $59 for the game. I too loved the 360 and am so disappointed with the Xbox One. Hey, it's got a BluRay player though! Looks like the Xbox One is the new PS3. Wait a sec, at least the PS3 had 3D capability. *** you Microsoft!

 

And what about us who got their digital copy of the game with the console? I've done all the steps referenced multiple times and the download is still taking forever. I started downloading the game @ 1:30am CDT and have not had the pleasure of seeing it
go past 26%. What is your "solution" to this? And it's not my internet speed holding it up if many others are having the same issue.

 

I am getting the error that "Code not found" on both the console and my xbox live pc login.

I got this code in the mail today with my XBOX One COD bundle, I cannot delete the game from the hard drive as it was never there to begin with.

 

I can't down load the update for the game? Goes form Queue to install back to Queue? Good thing I have a 360! They need to change the name from One to update all the time!!!
