Very disappointed in Titanfall

So you didnt do any research and spent $60 on a game and it wasnt what you thought it was going to be? That makes no sense!

If you knew nothing of the game you had no expectations going in. You then blame MS who had nothing to do with this game.

I stopped reading at "after playing this game for 20 minute".

By the way, had a blast last night. Had a hard time putting the controller down and going to bed.

 

Actually, making this game MP only (devs can devote more time to online gameplay) and taking away splitscreeners (one Xbone running twice the game info causes some lag) is two great reasons to buy this game. JMHO

 

I lol at the comments about no single player. When most of the games people buy are for multiplayer only. There will be more and more games then come out with no single player when people realize it's a thing of the past. I'm glad they focused on all online
this time around. Don't care for split screens either.

 

Split screening has been one of the biggest complaints over the years in COD forums (probably other FPS games as well).

I can remember oodles of players commenting how they would leave lobbies and games once they saw a couple spilt screeners show up. I wasn't a quitter but I definitely was happier when the split screeners were on the other team. ...and I usually won more
in that scenario as well

 

^^I dont think it had much to do with two guys playing on one TV nor their skill set that mattered. In the Xbox 360 days it was more about the Xbox 360 having to "host" and running twice the information. The 360 was "tapped out" running all the games info
for one player, much less having two players on one 360.

 

I bought a motorbike on eBay yesterday when it arrived I was gutted to find it only had two wheels and no roof! WTF!!!

 

20 mins is all it took huh? The info on this game wasn't hard to find. Split screening should be taken out of MP anyway.

I disagree with removing split screen. I have kids and they like to play together. It's not that easy popping down another $500 bucks when the two kids share the same bedroom.

Historically, most shooter games came with spit screen.

 

A god-awful game for not having off-line campaign and no split-screen? really?

If this is all you care about when you qualify a game as "good" or "god-awful" no amount of play time on TF is going to change your mind.

This is all on you for not LOOKING AT THE DAMN BOX when you bought it, if nothing else.

Take it back, and move on...............

 

There are plenty of options out there for split screen games and you can't have all your eggs in the one basket. You can not dis MS for this one. Do some research on any game before you throw down your hard earned cash for it. This was always toted as the
first of the "real" next gen games and with that there must be next gen ideas. I think they've nailed it on the format. I prefer to go it alone more often than not, so I am still deciding whether I can wait for Destiny or take the plunge on Titanfall. It does
too good to miss out on.
