    Very buggy, especially since last update


    Xbox One running in instant-on mode

    Primary use: Watching TV, Netflix, occasional blu-ray movie, and once in a great while we'll play a game

    Three issues of late, all seem to appear randomly and are fixed with a full power off and reboot (sometimes a couple of them):

    1. Kinect sensor isn't powered on. Its just dead. No lights, voice commands don't work, no gestures, its just like it was unplugged. This one appears only on some startups. As long as the xbox makes it through a bootup cycle and the sensor is working,
    it will stay working. If I do a full reboot (shut the xbox down, pull the power plug for 10 seconds, then power on), it comes right back.

    2. Center channel sound stops working. The other 4 speakers in my 5.1 setup continue to work fine, but the center channel is just totally mute. Tried powering on and off my receiver, also tried powering on and off my DVR when I'm using it as a source,
    no effect. Happens in netflix too. And its intermittent. Without changing anything, it will suddenly come back for a bit, then go out again. The only way things return to normal is if I do a full reboot (shut the xbox down, pull the power plug for 10 seconds,
    then power on), it comes right back.

    3. Video and audio out of sync. About a 1 second delay. And once again, if I do a full reboot (shut the xbox down, pull the power plug for 10 seconds, then power on), it comes right back in sync again.

    Its as if this latest firmware or something is incredibly buggy. These are very annoying problems that significantly impact my perception of quality. "feels like another windows Me".

    Can anyone confirm that these are known issues that others have reported, or am I completely on my own here?

  2. Jigsaw Loading very slowly since last update

    Windows 10 just had a major update and now Jigsaw takes more than a minute to load both the initial app and between screens during play.

    I've reported these bugs to the Bingo team and they are working to get these resolved. As Bingo is a "soft launch" in Canada only, it is similar to what other companies do with beta tests- so they can get all the bugs and problems resolved.

    I should add that only issue 1 will manifest itself right away on startup. But issues 2 and 3 don't usually appear until after we've been using the xbox for several days, sometimes a week or so.

  5. Missed say drop the control connection! After the September update my control and that of many people is disconnecting all the time!

    Today the Xbox just stopped listening to me. Won't respond at all to voice. Did a complete power off and power-cord pull, and issue 1 happens again, dead Kinect. So now ill reboot it again and hope it all works again for a while...

    This is so frustrating. Such a buggy pile of crap. Come on Microsoft!

    I've had those problems too. Plus sometimes when I record a clip they have no sound.
