    ok I tried that and now the Internet does not work on my pc, even with an Ethernet cable in; it says that "the settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network." now I really appreciate your help but tbh I don't
    think this will fix the problem. I believe the problem has to do with the wireless mode. Whenever I hit Configure Network in Xbox Live Teat Connection it says that wireless mode is not connected, but I'm sure I connected it. Correct me if I'm wrong. If you
    could help me get my Internet back and help me with the wireless mode, I'd be really grateful. :)

    hi @taidara, I appreciate your help. my setup has not changed with my xbox or my router/modem except that I had to reset my router to access it. My firmware is updated, and I do not have the option of wired connection. My modem is Linksys, model no.: D12-1A.
