Very annoyed...

    Very annoyed...


    I am becoming very annoyed and I am starting to become mad at myself for purchasing the Xbox One console. It really is because of 2 main reasons.

    1. When I connect to my network, and try to play an online portion of a game I get an error message saying that I am not connected to Xbox Live even though I just did connect to my network.

    2. When I try to sign in to my profile, most of the time I will get an error message telling me to try again in a few minutes. I do what it says, but it never works. So, I end up usually turning off my Xbox One in frustration.

    ( Please note that I do not have any of these problems on my 360. )

    Very Annoyed!

    Ever since I called Xbox support to buy my son a Game card(because it wouldnt work online).

    And the Lady I spoke to on the Phone DELETED my Xbox 360 Live Gold, YES I SAID DELETED!!!

    (she dont need to have a job there) I have been having Connection issues. My kids are always getting kicked offline.

    Is this Happening with anyone else?

    Very annoyed...

    Have you set the console up with a static IP and set it as the DMZ device in your router?

    Doing so will allow the console to have a more direct internet connection, which can help resolve several different connectivity issues.

    It will be a setting on your router. Check the manual for your router (it should be available online) and it should give you directions on how to setup devices for DMZ.

    I still have these problems with the static IP and DMZ done and when I can't sign in to my profile I can't even play the xbox one. Another thing that needs looking in to is xbox can't do any thing about any game that don't play right you have to phone the
    game company's costumer service which see fit to give you the run around and tell you it don't happen in the game where do old school gamers go now it all about the money and nothing to do with service anymore ...??????????????????????????it's gone well past

    Very annoyed...

    If you're still having issues after properly configuring a static IP and DMZ then it is likely an issue with the network equipment or ISP. As regards your support experience...without any info I can't really comment.

    You can stay updated on the service outage here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

    Some games do allow you to play while in offline mode. But you will not be able to use apps like Hulu.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings.
    3. Choose Network.
    4. Select Network settings > Go offline.

    Hey isaiah1247807! Do you own Minecraft for a different platform like PC or mobile? If so, its possible your Gamertag may be signed in on one of those devices when playing Minecraft. Double check and let us know!
