MS, and PlayStation have strict device policies to protect everyone, and even if a minor committed such offense, it does not matter what they did to the console. I suspect that your 9 year old did something that involved both consoles since MS saw he used
both consoles regularly, whether he was playing a game on one console, then used another (sub) account to play the same game on the other console. Since his ID tag was linked to both consoles, both got the console ban because the accounts were not used properly,
and within the MS code of conduct and terms of service. They consider it theft of the system and against the terms of service.

Parents have to keep very close eye on, and control their childs doings online, and it is best if they limit the online avtivities to very little and highly restrictive controls where that child cannot do much online freely.

Its not my 9 year old who pays for the live or pays for the consoles its me!!! Im livid

He is 9!!! I just said he made a mistake! with no warning banned both consoles! Think it should be me punishing not Microsoft!! THANKS!!

Unfortunately the enforcement team are the only ones with information about bans. There is no way to contact them other than submitting a case review which is not possible for console bans. As Hydro Skillet posted, console bans are permanent. The warning
is the terms of service that you agree to when you sign up to Live.

Iv had a case review and had it lifted but i want console ban lifted as i now have 2 consoles out of use!!!!! And i haven't the money to throw away! My son made one mistake he is 9 for gods sake!!
