    So I purchased my xbox one on day one and spent $500. I only have 2 hard disc games and the disc drive has been used maybe 30 times total as the majority of games I have are digital. The disc drive stops working as it won't read anything I put into it. You'd
    think the Xbox would be good at this since it's a game console. Called support and it will cost $140 to fix it and at least 15 fays. Really?!? Your xbox doesn't work after 30 uses of the disc drive and I'm responsible to pay to fix it? This is red ring all
    over again. Very angry and upset.

    Unfortunately that would be between you and your brother at this point in time.

    There is no way to transfer account currency between accounts.

    Hey there Jonathan,

    So what you're saying is your console turns off randomly?

    Sorry to hear about that. From what you have posted it seems that you have already followed the steps outlined on

    Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off
    , but if you haven't, then I would highly recommend it.

    If that does not help out then you should try what we call a soft reset of your console.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    same here. why do we have to sign in to play a game we already have? I think I wasted a lot of money on this product and am ready to get rid of it and buy a playstation.

    MyVip resets every year. Normally it is in September, but this year they gave us a few extra months to make it January to December which is easier to remember then August to September.

    The staff will advise you of the same thing, however they do not monitor the discussion forum. If you want to hear the same answer from them you will need to re-post and change the forum type to "Support".
