Very Angry GTA V and Xbox One Owner

Why is Grand Theft Auto V available for sale for Xbox One but Not for those of us who have already paid full price for the Xbox 360 version?

I have just purchased an Xbox One console and I need to continue to play my game on my new console.

This is unacceptable and very unfair to those of us who spent a lot of money on your 360 systems and then spent a load of money on your new system and can’t play our purchased games.

I no longer have my 360 console and I want and need to play my GTA V purchased game.

This is so unfair and bad Business.

Why was Xbox one released before they had this problem fixed?

Please, somebody explain this to me.

Wants me to re purchase digital games I had already owned

I had previously owned GTA V digitally on my Xbox one. Today I bought the one x and i went to download GTA V again but its saying I don’t own it.

GTA V for xbox 360 on xbox one?

Hi, the xbox 360 version of GTA V is not compatible on the Xbox One. If you want to play GTA V on the Xbox One then you will have to purchase the Xbox One version of the game. Not all games are free to download on the One if you own it on 360 first. GTA
V never had an offer to get it for free if purchased on 360 first. Rockstar games decided not to have promotion like that.

Unfortunately you will have to take it up having to repurchase the game with Rockstar Games (the publisher).

They set the [MSRP] pricing and have a say if they want to allow the game to be backward compatible (after all, it's their product to license).

Since GTA 5 was originally released on the 360, then Rockstar created the Xbox One version and released it roughly a year later, odds are Rockstar will not want this game to be backward compatible anytime soon (if at all) as they will loose a revenue stream.

Backward compatibility has only been around on the One for a few months now. If you look at the current list games that are backward compatible, (www.xbox.com/.../available-games),
none of them have an Xbox One version.

I'm sorry, I wish I had better news.

This BC list is available to make users aware of what games they can play when moving to the One. Unfortunately, your favorite game is not on that list. As previously stated you will need to take that up with the games publisher.

taky mam ten problem? jak prosim resit, nastaveni mam v anglictine a gta V v polstine. Dekuji za radu.
