    Very angry about Blu rays


    I've been a xbox guy for over a decade now and I'm thinking of returning this POS!!!! I own around 200 blu rays and It won't play them all. Probably around 2/3rds. Sounds ok? No The reason I got the xbox one is the fact that MS made it sound like it was
    going to be the ultimate entertainment system all in one. My piece of crap non internet blu ray player is better than my xbox one. When will the blu ray player be updated to support all blu rays!?!?!?! I can't even watch the new Thor movie I bought and returned
    2 all ready.

    Xbox One S as an UHD blu ray player..

    My S is quiet and works very well for Blu-ray.

    Why not sell a blue-ray free version for less?

    Who cares about watching blu rays? WOW you're out of touch.

    It should play. I watched the new thor: the dark world Bluray on my xbox one as well. No problems. I have almost 200 blurays as well. I have not run into a problem yet!

    Just more input for ya. I haven't run into a problem with my Blu-Ray either..

    A long shot here, but maybe uninstall the Blu-Ray app and reinstall it? Maybe something downloaded funky, you know?

    Yeah I did that already, the uninstall. I guess I'll take it back tomorrow then. Here is hoping 3rd xbox is a charm (1st one didn't work at all)

    No It's just a standard mastered Blu ray disc. I talked to best buy today. Looks like I have to send it in may take 2 weeks to get another one in. Which sucks since I was hoping to Play Titan this week.

    This is happening to me as well. I don't have the infamous grinding issue... Sometimes when you put a blu ray in, games included, they're not recognized. I've got to eject and reinsert like a bunch of times before it works and sometimes they won't work at
    all. Last night had to pop captain phillips into the ps3. Now sometimes it works just fine. At this point, it's about 50/50. I've had the thing since before Christmas, you think it's too late for exchange?
