Vertically mounting xbox one

Hi,

I mounted my xbox one Vertically and tried to play games but the game disk is not work and I get popup to insert game disk and try again. If I mount the xbox horizontally then everything works fine. Is this an issue in xbox one or only my unit?

I'll pass, I've never felt right about mounting my console vertically and I can think of better ways to spend the $100 CDN or whatever it is, nice that this is atleast a piece of merchandising where you don't have to buy a Brand X Vacuum to get it...

Both Kinect Sensors are designed to be mounted above the television for the best gaming experience possible. You can find more information on the mounting options on the Kinect mounting support pages. I'll provide the links below:

I believe the best thing to do in my opinion is to have the Kinect sensor for the system you use more frequently above your television. And the one you use less frequently on the bottom.

The Kinect Sensor for Xbox One is hands-down much better in general.

The Xbox One X, Xbox One S and The Xbox One All Digital can all be placed vertically on stands. This is not the case for the original Xbox One. While any undue wear and tear caused by the stand is covered under warranty, the warranty only covers Microsoft
branded stands.

The Xbox versions compatible with the stand can only be mounted one one side and not both.

It is important to have adequate ventilation around your machine.

They have one on amazon in the uk but its preorder, not available till 25th sept apparently, i could do with one as ive just wall mounted my tv and cos i cant mount my xb1 behind it as you cant stand it vertically, iv had to put it on the nearest surface
which is a few metres away so i have a long hdmi to reach the tv but i cant use my kinect any more until this is released, at leased i can use the xbox without havin to keep moving it.
