Version of my app is scheduled to get released in similar timelines of Xbox one X release

My app's version-up is planned to be released to customers in few weeks from now and I missed the pre-order of Xbox One X.

If I pre-order a device now, MSFT store says it will get delivered by 30-Nov-17 but again shipping it to my India address might gonna take a week or two from 30-Nov-17.(Development/Test happens in India)

Is there a way in which I can bridge the above stated gap and get the Xbox one X in a week or two in India (OR) Is there a simulator for Xbox one X where I can deploy my app and test it without even using the actual hardware. Please confirm.

Question for staff please.

Games released before the Xbox One X is released will more than likely just get a patch (quite a sizable one at that) to get them ready for the X, some may already have all that code built in from the start though, and all it will take is to plug your external
hard drive into the X and press play.

After the Xbox One X is released though most games (not all) will have the "X code" built in, so there shouldn't be any patch updates.

Basically you'll only need to buy one game, there will never be an Xbox One version of a game and a totally different Xbox One X version, all Xbox One games work on either console.

The One version of the game has not been released yet. It is scheduled to be released May 5. So currently, it is not playable on the One.

If it goes by the 2010 plans then it appears to be a set top box that will release holiday 2013 as a bundle with the Kinect V2 and followed shortly by "Project Fortaleza" (Wi-Fi version) in 2014 which is similar to Google glass but more oriented to gaming
and in 2015 the 4G version is scheduled for release

Hi, i pre ordered Hogwarts legacy xbox one version for my xbox one x. It lets me download the base version but not the full game and every time i try to open the game it says im too early even though it was released yesterday?

The xbox one (which includes xbox one x) versions of the game dont release until April 4th.

The Xbox Series X/S versions of the game are what released yesterday and those versions are not compatible with the Xbox One X
