Vermintide 2 causing an unexpected console shutdown

For the last 2 updates, whenever you try to do anything related to pressing the home button, it has a relatively high chance to cause the game to crash. about 8 seconds later, the consoles power indicator will flash 2 times quickly in a sequence of about
5 times then the system completely crashes and the controller will disconnect and actually retry to connect until it kills the battery. I am the owner of a club specific to this series and the issue is not related to xbox system build or console model, it
is happening across all. I have sent feedback for the last month, and i encourae anyone experiencing this issue to do the same. the problem which does not help, is I am not sure when i turn the system back on and report the problem, that the system did not
dump the memory because it crashed the way it did. is anyone else experiencing this issue here or have you experienced this exact issue with a completely different xbox game? thanks! We are trying hard to communicate with the developer and t has been a
slow troubleshooting process

Maybe try unistaling it an reinstall it or hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a soft reset

If the above solution doesnt fix it, try a
Factory Reset.

Note: Choose "Keep all my games and apps" if you dont want to lose the current games and apps installed.

Has the console suddenly shutdown while you were playing?

In this case, make sure the console is placed in a ventilated place. Due to the heat, the fan may become clogged and cause an unexpected shutdown.

Is your console plugged in directly to the outlet on the wall, or through an extension or surge protector? (support.xbox.com/.../connect-power-supply)

If its plugged into a surge protector, try plugging directly into a wall outlet. This *may* help your issue.

If not, then most likely you will have to send your console for repair at myservice.xbox.com

I've been having a similar issue as well, though mine shuts off immediately upon signing in during the first time setup (I reset the system to factory settings to try and fix the initial issue,in which the console would start up, display some blank squares
where the ads are supposed to be, and then turn off with no indication of error, just as yours is doing). I sent it to Microsoft to be repaired, but it came back with the issue remaining. This led me to conclude that It had something to with the power supply,
so I tried it with another one and still nothing. My current theory is that the issue was caused by the November update, as the issues began immediately upon downloading it.

I have an image of the error message which displayed immediately after the update if customer support would find it useful.
