Verizon Fios TV app isn't working

Hasn't been working for me for about 3 days now, and based on this other thread, it seems i'm not the only one. Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

Haven't seen any changes on the Xbox status page during this time either, as if Microsoft doesn't even know it's not working. What gives? Is this at all related to the cloud storage/friend list problems?

Verizon Fios App: No Subscription Found Error

I've been using this app for years. I am still a FIOS subscriper and all devices/internet/TV are currently working fine. I was just using this app the other day as well. However; for some reason today when i attempt to use it I am getting this error stating

"no subscription found" "Both verizon fios and verizon TV are required to use this app, you are not subscribed to fios tv and fios internet"

again I am using my internet now. ALL my devices work: laptop, tablet, phone, computers, TV. Just this single app isn't working. I tried reinstalling the app and disconnecting and reconnecting still not working.

FIOS TV App Not Working After Update

Just installed the update today and now my FIOS TV app can't authenticate my service with Verizon. App says that Verizon FiOS TV and FIOS internet are required, but I have both, and it's been working fine up until now. Other channel apps seem to work fine
so far, like FX NOW.

Unless you can get Verizon FIOS in your area... you will not be able to get the app. You must be a Verzion Fios TV customer use this app.

Same thing here... started today after working fine the last few days. TV is unwatchable, and rebooting isn't fixing the issue. I have a Verizon fios dvr.

SAFLEY, the Verizon FIOS app just popped up on Xbox One today, so I guess the One is getting the TV apps, also. Not sure what you get with this other than the live TV, since I do not have Verizon.

Verizon killed their TV app on Xbox and Smart TVs. Here's what I got from Verizon on March 17th:

Hi,

On March 31, 2016, the Fios® TV app you are using to watch your Fios TV programming through a Smart TV or an Xbox gaming system will be retired and
will no longer be available for use. Sorry for the inconvenience.

But we have great news; you can watch your Fios TV content using our Fios Mobile appfrom your smartphone or tablet. This app allows you to stream TV content in and out of
your home and so much more.

If you don’t already have the app, you can easily download it now.

I know it doesn't solve the problem, but hopefully it answers your question.
