Verizon fios motorolla Qip 7216 1 box problems with Oneguide

I had an xbox running live tv with this setup for about 2 years with no problem. I recently purchased a second xbox elite for the house and swapped this console with the old. I now can watch tv but the oneguide and voice channel navigation is unusable.
when I select a channel from the one guide/voice change the channel the Kinect sends the wrong channel to the set box and then it gets routed to a local channel of 1983 or somewhere in the high thousands and then the in home agent window pops up from Verizon
as if there is a problem. I've tried entering different codes for the box and that didn't work. I also noticed that the device power option now only has toggle as an option vs on and off setting from the old xbox. I've tried factory reset also and hard
reset. I feel I've tried all possible solutions so if anyone can figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.

Fios remote not responding

When I have the set box connected via the xbox one my set box will not respond to my remote. I know the remote works, because when I disconnect the xbox from the set box it starts to work again. Here is what I have connected to the xbox one My provider
is: Verizon Fios Set box/receiver: HD dvr QIP 7216 p2 (Motorola) Remote: vs p265v3 rc (c2378) Yamaha receiver w/ s/pdif connector to the xbox Any suggestions?

 

Live TV Issue

ZOMBIETOM TZA - can you please tell which receiver you got? Does it work CableBox -> Xbox1 -> AV -> TV. I am on Frontier Fios Motorola QIP 7216 P1

 

Having the same problem, could customer service please help us with this issue.

 

I actually had a different set box model in another room and switched them. it was working fine after that. I just ordered updated fios equipment and i'll update on how it goes
