Verizon and Microsoft

I didn't know where to post this because you can't post on Xbox Support...

So I have been at this for the past two days and have just been tossed around. I keep getting dropped from servers like GTA Online, Destiny, etc. Destiny just straight out tells me there is no internet connection and GTA Online will just drop me while
being in a server. I go to contact Microsoft and they tell me to open these ports under my modem settings which is a Verizon modem. I do that and that still didn't work. I watch a Youtube video from Verizon to do it and it still didn't work. I have cleared
cache, deleted name, recovered it, everything. My download speed is 58.43 Mbps and my upload speed is 36.18 Mbps. I check my Nat Type and it says open but it says Social and Gaming are experiencing issues. I go to test my ports, which is the first time I ever
had to do something like that, and they say they are closed or another app is blocking it.

I contact my ISP and they say those ports are active and there are no restrictions on my router itself. Microsoft told me there is a weak connection between the router and the console and Verizon is telling me I have to update some firmware.

I have never had this issue before. I get a tv/internet provider and I hook my console up and I play. I don't understand what is happening and I am not getting answers. Verizon is saying its Microsoft and Microsoft is saying its Verizon. HELP!!!

Would it just be easier to just go buy my own modem?

Connecting wirelessly to my Verizon mifi device

I have a new Xbox with kinect and it sees my verizon device but won't connect have called Verizon and Microsoft with nothing solved

I can't connect to Xbox Live.

Verizon is my ISP to, and I am also having problems visiting ALL microsft services not just XBL. I think its a microsoft-verizon problem I am having.

No it's not verizon the issue is with Microsoft as the chat I had posted with the Microsoft rep stated. Just like another chat had a few weeks back with a Microsoft rep said they are looking over the the terns and conditions that verizon sent over. Further more verizon won't do anything other then see if the person's account is eligible and then say they don't know why.

I called Affirm, and they told me that they only deal with the financing not the Xbox itself. Verizon told me to contact Microsoft, and I see Microsoft wants me to contact Verizon or Affirm. What BS.

Yes they removed it my Verizon store had told me they were having to many issues with their partnership on transactions not going through from Verizon to Microsoft soo Microsoft was loosing out on purchases sooo Microsoft took it down completely

Well If its Verizon's fault," which I have Verizon DSL not FIOS", Why is it my computers and PS3 can still connect to the internet? Can you explain that Microsoft?

The reason that othersites werent working is due to them being powered in one part or another by microsoft or silverlight. Microsoft blocked IP addresses from reaching those sites. Verizon was able to fix microsofts problem for you by issuing you a new IP
that microsoft will accept. Honestly verizon messed up by fixing any of it because it makes people think that if they were able to make it work then it had to be verizon. They should have just left it and microsoft would have been left with all the blame.
